CPPS X COUNTRY RUN The weather was great, the field was set and all the competitors, all 650 students, were fit and eager to participate. Hydrated up and wearing sports uniforms each age group ran the gruelling track around our school. Snaking their way around buildings, in and out of gates, through trees and up and down hills, sweaty children puffed and panted over an hour of constant exercise. Red faced they each finished, one without a shoe, some jubuliantly and others clearly exhausted. Many thanks to parent helpers, Mr Engel, Year 6 support crew, the many official helpers and the cheering crowd of spectators.
